I spent Sunday afternoon watching the life of Ian Curtis being portrayed by Sam Riley in the movie Control.  Control is a movie based on the life of Ian Curtis, not Joy Division. Very good acting. Very good plots. But very very depressing. And sad.

Boarded Doors

The Morning Benders are coming out with a new album some time this year. Yeay.

In the mean time check out their video for Boarded Doors. I love this video as it features something I can’t live without, shoes. The video reminds me of that movie, Wicker Park. Remember the part where Josh Hartnett was pretending to be the store assistant and nervously slipping that gorgeous red soled black heels on to Diane Kruger’s foot? And then she left her number on that shoe box? Ahh, all good things happen in a shoe store.
