Joker’s Daughter – The Last Laugh

Listening to The Last Laugh by Jokers Daughter is like listening to abstract-gypster-folk music, very unique and hallucinating. The combination of her melodious yet delirious music and her breezy soft voice can get eerie and confusing at times. I don’t get most part of her lyrics though as its tends to get too mythical for my understanding and I think Jessie The Goat is sang in Greek, not sure though. Joker’s Daughter is actually Greek-English singer song-writer Helena Costas and her debut album, The Last Laugh is produced by Brooklyn-based Danger Mouse. And so who would thought that he would produce this kind of record, huh?
